Chloe’s life is working as a cocktail waitress, taking care of her addict mother, and wasting her time on traveling musicians. When a bad trip sends her mother into a coma Chloe decides to go after her dealer Hollis. She’s soon pulled into his jittery underworld, an indiscriminate stew of sex and hallucinogens, where Black Power and white rockers fight the good fight. In a trip that takes her from the streets to the ashram to the islands, Chloe in turn must fight to save herself. A story about losing your mind, finding your mojo, and the kicks in between.
