Susanna is working with Philadelphia-based artist Deanna Staffo on a series of portraits of the lovely ladies of Von Deren. The portraits are followed by a series of 20 questions that each lady must answer in words and images. The collection is inspired by the Schönheitengalerie of Ludwig the I of Bavaria. The king was an enthusiastic patron of the arts and a lover of women, which he showcased in a collection of portraits of women he deemed the most beautiful. These idiosyncratic portraits still hang in the Nymphenburg Palace in Munich.
